Juniper is 18+ and open to Newark, Irvington, East Orange, Orange, West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Bloomfield, Union, and Elizabeth. Jersey City, Rahway, Montclair, and everywhere else join the waitlist and do not appear in Discover.
If it’s quiet, that’s the truth. Juniper does not add fake profiles, fake likes, or fake dates to fill the circle. Invite someone who actually lives in a launch town.
Confirm the email on your account before Discover, likes, Blind Vibe Check, date suggestions, or chat. Juniper only sends that email when a Juniper sender is configured. Until then, member access stays closed. “Email confirmed” appears only after the link is used. Other members never see the address.
A Discover profile needs your name, age, launch town, intention, three prompts, and at least two photos you upload. Use a clear photo of yourself. Avoid home addresses, vehicle plates, workplace badges, children, documents, or location clues.
A private selfie is for owner review only. It is not shown on your profile, in Discover, or in chat. “Selfie review pending” means it is waiting. “Selfie reviewed” means a person looked at it. “Verification declined” means it was not accepted. None of these means face verified, ID verified, or background checked.
Discover shows a small set of complete profiles in the launch towns. Like or pass. Chat opens only after you both like each other. There is no boost and no endless feed.
Blind Vibe Check pairs two real, compatible people in the launch towns and starts from prompts. Photos stay blurred until both choose Reveal. Either person can end it without revealing. It stays closed when there isn’t another eligible person. It is not a game.
After a match, you can suggest a public place, a day, a general time, and a style: coffee, a walk, a museum, casual food, or drinks. The other person must confirm, decline, or suggest a change. Juniper does not book the table, share live location, or track arrival. Confirm hours with the venue. Meet in public and arrange your own ride.
Block and Report are on every chat. A report hides that person from you right away. Categories include fake profile, impersonation, asked for money, harassment, explicit content, underage concern, unsafe behavior, and other. Juniper does not promise an outcome or a reply time.
Do not send money, gift cards, or crypto to someone you met here. Billing is off during the private beta. If someone asks you to pay them, block, report, and contact safety.
Town is shown. Not your address, workplace, or live location. Delete your profile and dating data from your profile page. For a login-removal or data request, use the privacy contact. Juniper does not run background checks.
