Community guidelines
Juniper is a small 18+ dating circle for Newark and nearby towns: Irvington, the Oranges, South Orange, Maplewood, Bloomfield, Union, and Elizabeth. Private beta. Juniper does not run background checks.
Keep it on Juniper
Keep chat here first. Never send money. Meet in public. Tell someone about a first date. Arrange your own ride.
18 and over
You must be at least 18. If we learn an account belongs to a minor, it is removed.
Be who you are
Use your own photos and a name people can call you. Catfishing, impersonation, and commercial solicitation are out.
Respect the no
Passes are silent. Don’t harass, don’t pressure anyone off the app, don’t keep going after a block.
Messages
Messages are free while the ring fills. Likes, matches, report, and block stay free. Paid membership is not on yet.
Report and block
Every match thread has report and block. Reporting also blocks that person so you don’t have to see them again. Three separate reporters auto-suspend an account. One person cannot stack reports to force it.
Meet in public
First meetings belong in a public place — a diner, a park, a gallery. Tell someone where you’re going.
What we actually lock down
Nothing on the internet is unhackable. Juniper does not store card numbers. Every like, match, message, ban, and Plus grant is checked on the server. Owner Control is first-claim, then owner-only. The owner should claim Control before inviting the neighborhood.
Privacy
Juniper stores the profile, photos, likes, and messages you add. Town is shown. Not your address, workplace, or live location. You can delete your profile and data from your profile page. For a login-removal request, email the owner from the address on the account.
Terms
Private beta. 18+ only. You are responsible for what you post. We can suspend an account that breaks these guidelines. Payments are off. This is not a background-check service.
